What We Miss Most About Our Old Cars?

Posted last February 9, 2018, 7:17 am in Services report article

New cars are wonderful, but we have nostalgia to live in our past and therefore miss old models of Japanese cars.

Modern cars have changed the world tremendously and now we have bangs, beeps, airbags and touch screens in our vehicles. Mostly, these features were not a part of the old ones. Now, we are enjoying safety and luxury under one roof, but old cars without these facilities are still missed. The reason behind it is some features which are replaced by the latest ones and going to be discussed here.

Pop-up Headlights

All the drivers of old cars definitely enjoyed pop-up headlights. Latest in Japanese cars, we do not have this option. These lights looked stylish, smart and attractive, but now, Japanese car manufacturers have shifted to the advanced level because latest researches say that these lights are harmful to pedestrians.

A-Pillars Shape

It was another feature which is not available in latest Japanese used cars. These pillars were a great hurdle to look from the corners of the vehicle, but the manufacturers have solved this issue now.

T-Top Roof

These convertible tops gave the stylish look to your car. The best quality of this feature was that you could remove it. We miss this feature in new cars.

Manual Gearbox

Although, we have shifted to automatic transmission now but driving with a manual gearbox was amazing. There were a thrill and adventure with this option on a long-drive. Most of the drivers do not remember it, but those who have spent time with this feature on a long route, miss it a lot.

Simple Interior

The simplicity in the interior of old cars was another plus. You just needed to enter a car, ignite the engine and start driving. Latest in Japanese cars, the most difficult task for a new driver is to discover the ignition point. Other features in these new cars are also difficult to find and understand.

We miss weight the most in new cars. Heavy cars were difficult to handle, but there was a great control while driving these cars. Lightweight cars are better but the reality is that heavy cars are easier in controlling specially on the longer routes.

Car Keys

We will forget traditional keys very soon as the manufacturers have changed the entire look of car keys. Traditional keys have become the part of the past and we will miss this feature in the coming vehicles.
